Copy of Donald K North Library: Find Scholarly Articles

A test of the main page.

Search Primo

Primo searches every article database we have, as well as our catalog of books.

The links below will take you to some of the specialized databases Heritage University has access to. As students here, you can use these on campus or off-campus as long as you use the links on our website.

These databases cover many different topics, and most of them specialize in a particular subject. All of them have some content that the others don't. If you're having trouble finding useful articles in one database, try a different one in the same field and you may have better luck.

Types of Sources

Not every article in the databases on this page is scholarly.

Scholarly articles are also sometimes called peer reviewed articles or refereed articles. All of these terms mean the same thing; the article has been reviewed by experts in the field and judged good enough for publication.

Some of the databases on this page contain popular or professional articles; these articles do not go through this review process and are written so that the average person can understand them.
